SAFETY PRAYER

           Almighty and Eternal God, 

our Supreme and Divine Commander 

and our Father in Heaven, 

We salute and adore You in our reverent silence.

           We are aware of the dangers and hardships that await each and every one of us.  Lord, clothe us with Your special blessings and protection.  Let Your Divine Spirit and Guiding Hand be felt by us.  Make us useful instruments of Your peace – where there is backwardness, let us promote human development; where there is fear, hope; where there is sadness, joy; where there is danger, security; where there is confusion, enlightenment and understanding; where there is enmity, friendship; where there is disunity, unity.

            All these we ask through Christ our Lord, Amen.
