“ What God wants and not what we want”

18th Wk (Mt 15: 21-28)

I.Story: “When all prayers are answered”
-          the people realized that they had asked for the things that were not good for them.

II.The problem with people is that, their wants are limitless or endless. It is like drinking salt water, the more they drink of it the thirstier they get. There is no contentment.

-          and oftentimes, people pray for what they want and not for what they really need. Hindi lahat ng gusto natin ay kailangan natin. Kaya walang contentment and we end up still unhappy.

III.Mga kapatid, sana matularan natin ang babae dito sa Gospel. Persistent sya sa prayers niya, at alam niya kung ano ang hinihingi niya.

And it would be best, if when  we pray, we pray for what God wants for us and not what we want for ourselves. Because God knows what is really best for us.
